You know where I completely agree about Never Back Down, I actually thought the base idea behind Eagle Eye was decent (except for the appearance and performance of the AI mind you). With the current Patriot Act among other small (mostly fictional rumor-esque) controversies much of the movie would be plausible given the advent of artificial intelligence. The connections however, like "oh lucky me the one person who put a command override on me has an identical twin brother" are EXTREMELY out there. Had they gone with maybe, a different angle there it would have been one hell of a good show.
